The get together started out at Lincoln Park, on what had been a lovely, sunny day. Unfortunately, in typical Melbourne fashion, the weather turned and rain set in quite early. While Steve Selwood battled on at the BBQ, a unanimous decision was made to relocate to the shelter of PEGs pool.
It was lovely seeing so many people attend – parents, juniors and senior swimmers. Our president, Luka Zubcic, said a few words, congratulating everyone on a fabulous year, welcoming our new members, highlighting some of the club’s achievements, and looking forward to the rest of the season. Head Coach, Seb Bettiol endorsed Luka’s sentiments.
Everyone pitched in with delicious food, and the efforts of Belinda and Steve Selwood, together with their family, was gratefully acknowledged.
