Swimming Victoria held its annual awards presentations on Saturday 26 June. The ceremony acknowledged achievements for both the 2020 season (as last season’s awards ceremony was cancelled due to COVID-19) and the 2021 season.
The club is very proud to announce the following awards recipients:
Western Melbourne Propulsion was named a Swimming Victoria Top 10 Club for the second season in a row. Having placed 7th in 2020, we placed 7th again for the 2021 season. This is a great club achievement given the disruptions over the year, and everyone at the club is to be commended for their hard work and dedication to produce this significant result.
Noah O’Donnell received Victorian Open Water Age Group Swimmer 2020
Robbe Dilissen received Victorian Open Water Swimmer of the Year 2020 & 2021
Seb Bettiol received Victorian Open Water Coach of the Year 2020 & 2021
Luka Zubcic received the Swimming Victoria Volunteer of the Year 2021
As these awards confirm, the club has been recognised for its outstanding whole-club achievements, the individual achievements of its swimmers, its coaching capabilities and its pro bono efforts.
Congratulations to all.
