On Saturday the 17th of September, Western Melbourne Propulsion hosted its AGM and our first club championships since the beginning of the pandemic. The formal part of the afternoon saw the election of the 2022-2023 committee, and our president Luka, and head coach Seb, reflected on another successful year for our club.
At the conclusion of the AGM, young swimmers and seasoned veterans alike eagerly took to the pool for our highly anticipated club championships. Swimmers competed in a range of events including Swimming Victoria sanctioned events, and novelty events such as the noodle race and highly coveted family pair relay. The energy was high, new friendships were born, and old bonds were strengthened. It was so good too see so many swimmers from an array of levels in attendance, alongside parents, coaches, and committee members.
The club would like to thank the committee, coaches, parents, volunteers, officials, and of course our swimmers, for making the event such a success.
