Across two weekends, we had six first-time individual qualifiers - Shelby Morgan, Charlotte, Ristig, Hannah Ristig, Oliver Salmon, Matilda Therhaag and Rose Vaughan, as well as three first-time State swimmers in relays - Allison Do, Ally Hutchinson and Victoria Therhaag.
The team performed extremely well, with a host of PBs across the board. Notable individual performances included James Morrow storming home to clinch silver in the 200BR, Enrico Villegas returning from isolation to claim bronze in the 1500FR, Ruby Knott's podium double in the 800FR and 1500FR, and Jack Morrow's mega final 50m to nab bronze in the 100BK and claim a backstroke medal double.
For many swimmers, this was their first major competition as a Propulsion athlete. As such, while the coaching team were pleased with how the team performed in the pool, we were just as delighted to see the camaraderie within the team - great vibes, great times, great support and great representation of everything the club embodies.
