2019 Swimming Victoria Junior Talent Squad

October 19, 2019

Swimming Victoria has announced the 2019 Swimming Victoria Junior Talent Squad, and our own Noah O'Donnell has been selected.

Swimming Victoria has announced the 2019 Junior Talent Squad. Fifty-seven athletes aged 12-13, from 27 clubs, were selected based on their performances at the Victorian Age Short Course Championships. WMP's Noah O'Donnell will be invited to 3 workshops in coming months, which will give him a range of opportunities through the Swimming Victoria performance pathway.

The program will provide Noah with a platform to develop the skill set required to compete successfully at state and national level, and encourages athletes to develop all 4 strokes, as well as specific skill development in starts, turns and underwater work. The sessions will be facilitated by some of Victoria's best coaches and overseen by State Technical Director, Rohan Taylor and Swimming Victoria's Development Coach, Wayne Lawes. Congratulations, Noah!
